Surge Voltage Protection And Output Shortcircuit Protection
Normally, when you change a car's storage battery, the car's on-board computer will be turned off and the relevant data and personal settings (such as radio station setting, clock setting, etc) will be lost. The car data saver can be used to keep your car's computer powered while you perform battery change. It needs an additional car or a 12V storage battery as a power supplier and outputs the voltage which it receives to the car whose storage battery you want to be change. It features surge voltage protection and output shortcircuit protection. It is a very useful tool for car service.
OUTPUT SOCKET
It is the socket for adapter A or adapter B. The output plug of adapter A is to be inserted into the cigarette lighter socket of the car whose storage battery you want to change. The clips of adapter B are to be connected to be connecting terminals which the storage battey you want to change is connected to.
INPUT CLIP
If you don't use the input plug, you can use the black input clip and the red input clip to connect to a 12V storage battery used as a power supply. The red input clip must be connected to the positive terminal of this storage battery, and the black input clip must be connected to the negative terminal of this storage battery.
